Have you received your passport request? I am also have the same situation, I did my medical last december and until today I am still waiting for the passport request from London office.

Penpal , is the date you stated as date they requested your passport is the date that you received the letter or it is the date that is written in the request? if you got your request in 3.5 months time it means that i'm already halfway of the waiting time. i need l a ot of courage to have positive thoughts then... where are you planning to land? please post your experience later. thanks

By the way I'm a newbie here in this forum, I just want to ask you when did you receive your passport request after your medical? And also in the passport request, how long was the deadline to submit your passport? I just had my medical done on March 13, so I am waiting for the PPR. But in May 1, I am planning to go to my home country for my annual vacation and be back here in UAE by May 30. I was just thinking that maybe between those time they will send the request for passport.

Hi Azolyma,

The passort request date is the date written in the request letter and not the date of receipt of letter.
I think your passport request should reach you within this month,max.
I hv yet to decide where to land.It is a toss up between Toronto and Calgary.

Thanks for your wishes.
I recd the pasport request letter after 3.5 months of my medicals.
They gave 45 days for passport submission.
Even if u travel and come back,still i think u shld be able to meet the deadline for passport submission,since even if u receive ur passports request by 15th april which is the minimum,the deadline would be 30th may.

Hi Azolyma,

Letter for passport request dtd 01.02.10
Recd it on 18.02.10
Passports sent on 08.03.10 (since my wife was travelling)
Passports recd on 30.03.10

From Dubai the passports take one day to reach London.

do u know if London CHC will request Machine Readable passports or current passports r ok? i am still a long way to receive PPR, still i wanna be prepared as i saw somewhere in the forum that someone got a request for machine readable passport but i don't know for which CHC it was.

plzzz guide me......
