and i have received a letter from Province of Ontario under this program of backlog reduction.
Is there anyone else who received any such letter?

Yes. One of my Colleague received same letter. In side the letter they mention the requirement procedure and the criteries.

This is a fgolden chance for those who applied before June 2008.

Exactly. however do you have any idea as how long it will take further to process the cases under provencial nomination?

Seems Konney is plannling to erase files in backlog.

BTW many Chinese applicants received the PNP letter. The bas news is there is no enough valid IELTS seat!
Ontario asks to send materials in early May.
Alberta seems ask in June.

You better wait and CIC is contacting themselves based on your initially filed application and the requirements of the Provinces.
There is no time frame given in the letter. It just tell that you have been nominated for Ontario and incase you are interested, then provide a list of documents by 5th May, otherwise the case will remain in the queue of FSW applications.

NOC 3131, haven't received PNP letter, just got the info on CIC official website that now J. Kenny has announced to reduce backlog by offering provinces to take the applications from backlog pool as per their occupations in demand policy.........keep the figures crossed and wait...
