a 2006 friend of mine got his meds so they are workign in Warsaw.
But in Damascus it's a sad story. I am waiting for a response from them to see if they are open or not.

I submitted my application (without any documents) in 2007 and still waiting ....
my mobile number and my email changed ... but my home telephone number is the same ... should i send my updated contact information .... and if so ... to whom ?? Damascus or Warso ??

Please advise.

use the ecas system to see where your file is (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en), then submit a case specific enquiry (damascus: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/damascus.asp warsaw: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/warsaw.asp) and ask them the same, their email addresses are on the same page as well.

The phone numbers are not that important but your email is because they will communicate the need for updates through email

where exactly is this in the caips notes? which page? what are the info before and after that line?

I found this in some forum: RFB/RFV

RFV apparently means "Ready for Visa" and RFB apparently means "Ready for background check"
