I applied for Canadian Immigration in August 2004, they transfered my file to Warsaw. Warsaw office contacted me asking me to update my file plus they asked for The IELTS Exam. I sent all the required document on August, and the IELTS result on October, when do u think i ll get a re ply from them? and, why does it take all that long time.

1- Same, about start of processing and transfer to warsaw
2- Didn't hear about it before, but you need to further inquire.

@Hurry.Visitor and Armintaba: Reference letter from empyloyer, there is no particular format, the letter should contain Joining date, duties performed and position, also include buisness card or contact info of the employer / HR.

@LeEmperor: Original IELTS should be sent.

Thanks God I found someone who's situation is similar to mine, as I thought there is something wrong!!! I'm an old applicant to as I applied in aug 2004 too. my file was transfered to warsaw too as well as updates since september 2009, however there is no response yet and I'm getting nervous. So I feel reliefed to hear that there is someone who faces the same timeline and waiting. But there is nothing to be done more than waiting my friend so be patient and good news are comming soon inshalla. goodspead

@ Fadishk and LeEmperor : guys how many family members you have ? including your wife ?

@ youskal : i know there is no particular format, but am saying i just want to write the letter in the way the embassy want it, and then to make my manager sign it and stamp it, coz he will not bother his self to write me a paper detailed as wat the emabssy are requesting. so better for me to write it and he sign . but my friend armintaba didnt got me in the right way, he thought there is a from for that .
so anyway if any one did already wrote this letter, please let him share it with us by posting it here as a template. thats all

@ LeEmperor : yes for sure, as much family members you have going with u to canada as much time it will take them to finalize studying your file, since they have to study every person alone.
sometimes you hear that a person updated his file and he got the medical in 3 or 4 or even 5 months, but if u notice he is applying alone for immigration no one is goin with him over there, while u hear also another people they update and they wait for 9+ months.

Thats my opinion man, nothing official.
but think about it is logical

I am afraid that you are building casles in the air


Your case is strange & serious for the following reasons
You applied for Canadian Immigration in August 2004,
they transfered your file to Warsaw 2009.(I guess the begining of 2009)
Warsaw office contacted you asking to update your file 2009
you sent all the required document on August 2009,
and the IELTS result on October2009
I think that some thing wrong is going on
With reference to timing that we observed in this thread you both should be in Canada since at least one year ago if every thing is ok with your application
you should receive medical check request at least Dec/2009-Jan 2010


I suggest to you to do the follwing

-verify & the status of application (using the online application status check cic.gc.ca) may be decision was already made (if the did not send medicals may be it was refused )
-Check your mailing address using the online application status check cic.gc.ca
-It is wise if you check your E-mail Address

if evry thing is ok with them I advise to send enquiry to Warsaw office

I am still unsure about the OFFICE REQUESTED, so please let me know what you have written in this part. As I read in the guide insytructions, our requested office is damascus office not warsa. since requsted office is the one in charge of our countries' cases.
however, I can't trust that

2) Also, what is military servive unit number.I couldn't find anything like this in my completion card
