just today i received my passports with the visas affixed to them
i will start planning my landing to Canada, my visa is valid until Dec 2013, so i think that i may do my landing in OCT 2013
wish all of u get the good news very very soon

I completed the Medical test on march 2013 , then I received a call from Amman Visa office on 26 March that they have my medical test result and now they are waiting for the result of the security check(background check) ,then I heard nothing from them ,can anybody tell me how long does it take for the security check to be done with Amman Visa office ?

there is no specific time for the background and security check, it may take from 1 month to 1-2 years, but in general uts average is 3-4 months, this depends on many factors like the countries you lived in during the last 10 years, if u did a military service or not......etc
in my case it took about 5 months, other 2-3 months, but some are waiting for more than 6 months by now

but i am applying a work permit application under provincial nominee category ,is it reasonable to wait 2 years to get the work petmit approved ?
