Hey, wondering if you guys can help me with this one.

Does anyone know how strict the VO is about submitting all documents on time ? I've had issues with obtaining police certificates and finger prints here in Canada which takes forever to obtain and it was during Christmas holidays which makes it take even longer. Plus once I gathered everything, I sent the documents, but the courier lost our mail, which was the worst thing ever, so I had to gather a whole new set of police certificates and finger prints.

So overall I submitted those documents past the deadline, but I did the medicals early and submitted Schedule-A documents on time with a letter explaining the delay of the police certificates.

Anyone knows if that would affect the decision of our application?
And is there a way to know whether the VO has received the medicals? By checking online for my application status, it says " In Process " same thing for the past seven years. I bet if they change that color from blue to something else it would get me excited :P

I applied in April 2006, submitted medicals in December, and submitted last document on Feb 4th ( Deadline was Jan 25th)

i know someone in iranian forum with same situation as urs
he was 2010 fsw , got police certificate from canada but VO said they havent received it, i know he finially found a much faster way of getting police certificate for the second time
anyways he sent them after deadline but they accept it
dont worry , they understand ur situation
about ECAS , for old applicants it doesnt show any specific info about med results, if u click on the inprocess link, after that it will b always in blue color just meant u have seen this link before, doesnt mean anything
