Dear friend I am so happy to hear about your passport request, Congratulations and wish you a perfect life in Canada

I will be really pleased if you could let us know what is contained in the attachment regarding the bank statement, thanks in advance

this is the attachement regarding the proof of funds

Dear Applicant,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

You have now passed Canadian immigration medical, background and criminality screening requirements. Before we may issue visas to you and your family members, we must be satisfied that you own and control sufficient funds for your resettlement needs in Canada.

For your family size of 4 persons you must be able to show that you have a minimum of Canadian $20,654 and that these funds are unencumbered, i.e. exclusive of any outstanding financial obligations that you have or may incur after the visas are issued, such as transportation fees, removal costs and/or service fees to third parties.

In addition to the above, the funds must not be a loan from a friend, relative or other party. The amount of funds in your possession must be equivalent in Canadian dollars to the amount required for your resettlement purposes (as provided above). The evidence of sufficient funds must be in the form of original current bank statement(s) for an account created and maintained in your name.

You should ensure that you have access to your resettlement funds after you arrive in Canada, as the assistance available in Canada from the government will be very limited. The amount of resettlement funds in your possession will be recorded in your immigration file and will be available to officers of the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Department of Citizenship and Immigration in Canada. Proof of your settlement funds may be required upon your arrival in Canada before your permanent resident status is granted.

We also require that you provide a declaration stating that you will have no financial obligations upon your arrival in Canada or, alternatively, if you have or anticipate having financial obligations, a declaration listing your financial obligations and their amounts.

We encourage you to visit CBSA’s website in order to obtain more information about any additional requirements you may have to meet when you bring your resettlement funds with you to Canada: http://www.cbsa.gc.ca/publications/pub/bsf5052-eng.html .
