hey guys,

haven't posted from a while its job duty call anyway i've read all yous posts recently, pls allow me take the chance and welcome all new applicant's to this form hope all of you will hear soon from CHC

now its 6 weeks from the day i sent through my lawyer a status query to CHC Damascus and still no respond!! i've been advised by my lawyer that it might take up to 2 months to get a respond!! :

any way i'll keep you posted of any news

hi all .. i have recieved today (thursday) additional medical request :'(!!
does anybody have any idea about the additional time wanted ? tommorow my father is going to the AUH Beirut to give the letter to the doctor to tell us about the additional med's.. does it take another 12 month :O??

hi ka3far,
I think what happened for you is that one of your med's tests is inconclusive. The same thing happened for one of our friends here couples of years ago. He had broad shoulder and when they did the X-ray on him, there wasn't enough space for the whole chest. The associate doctor didn't notice it and sent the test results to Paris. Then after couples of months they asked for another chest's X-ray.
So don't worry. These things happen.

It will take some time but not 12 months, it might be between 1 to 2 months delay, its always like this when documents are inconsistent in the eye of CHC, anyway Ka3far you have to be patient, its all about waiting, unfortunatelly every transaction with CHC takes at least 1 to 2 months to be processed.

sorry about the 12 month thing .. i meant 12 weeks .. anyways today my father did the additional med's.. they want to check the creatine's concentration in the kidney's !! weird !! that wasn't included in the first test .. anyways im still waiting and thanks for your replies ..

hi all, while I was browsing the posts in this thread I couldn't find any case similar to mine (I mean applicants from 2004 who didn't recieve any reply until now). many friends have recieved responds months ago altough they have applied long time after i did! I know that quebec applicants are an exception but what about me? any thoughts friends

Hi Fadishek,

As I advised you earlier, your file is late for some reason, and the only one that might know this reason is you, your file was transferred to warsaw in june 2009 along with the 2005 batch, as if you have applied in 2005 instead of 2004. Many of the warsaw transferees are still waiting for their meds, and some have received and finished meds waiting for their visa.

If you don't know the reason of the delay in your case, I advise you to send a case specific inquiry and ask for details about your 2004 application.

HI Fadishek,

any case specific enquiry has to be sent through your lawyer as he is the midleman between you and CHC, i'm in the same situation sent status query through my lawyer 7 weeks ago and still no respond, it usually shall not take more than 2 months for CHC to get back to you.

I haven't received anything also. Can any of you who have representatives tell me how often does your representative conatct you or update you or even inform you about any news concerning your cases?

Riwa and all Topic members,
Our represntatives usually don't contact us unless there is any communication they had recieved form CHC. but they are always supportive whenever you are enquiring about any info or whenven an action need to be taken " at least my represntative "
I got in contact with my lawyer yesteday and i've been informed that my processing time has increased from 12 to 14 months and accordingly i should recive medicals+RPRF in between April and june.
i've been reading on different threads that government of canada is implementing new rules on April 16th to expedite the immigration processes for new applicant's.some member's were saying that CHC's in general will start issuing medicals, RPRF and PPR after this period.now i'm not sure how true is this neither its my opinion, but this is what it came across.
any way will keep you informed of any new news.
