2006 DAMASCUS APPLICANTS

I applied in 2006 through London office , after that my file transfer to Damascus and then Warsaw.
Now I received the medical request for me , husband and my two older children along with landing fees and updated documents. But during this period I have another daughter who has now almost 4 years old, I didnt add her to my application since we heard alot of thing about cancellation of old application.
any advise for what I have to do now?

you have to contact warsaw visaoffice and ask for what documents they need for adding ur daughter, they would give you the information and you will get medical form for ur daughter 2-3weeks after sending ur child's document

I have done the medical test for the work permit in Feb and did not hear from the visa office sice then,can anybody tell me for how long is the medical test valid ..is it 6 months or 1 year ??

It's valid for 1 year; they still working with those who received their medical on. Nov -Dec 2012

I did the medical test in December & send the updated docs in January ,yet ,still waiting .I even emailed them last month for an enquiry but they did not reply back.

As far as I knew , there is employee strike taking place in Canada , specially employees of immigration institutes , I believe this would have delay impact on our cases

i believe that there is no difference, once medicals sent normal process will take place wch is background and security check wch i believe would be similar for all applicants

OTTAWA, May 21, 2013 /CNW/ - As part of ongoing efforts to bring Treasury Board back to the negotiating table, Canada's Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) will withdraw services in a number of international locations and at Headquarters in Ottawa, effective immediately.

The interruption of services will take place at the following locations: London (immigration section), Buenos Aires, Santiago, and at HQ in the International Economic Relations & Summits Division, Treaty Law Division, North America Bureau, North America Policy & Relations Division, Director General for Africa, Eastern & Southern Africa Relations Division.

Canada's Foreign Service Officers are in a legal strike position and will be maintaining pressure on the government headquarters until Treasury Board returns to the negotiating table for a substantive and genuine discussion on addressing the pay inequities Today's announcement is the next step in a series of coordinated activities to take place this Spring including 'Information Pickets' held in Ottawa, Washington DC, London and Mexico City. PAFSO members are in the midst work-to-rule campaign both at headquarters and at foreign posts.

The primary issue at hand is PAFSO's request for equal pay for equal work. Specifically, the union is seeking wage adjustments to keep Foreign Service Officer pay in line with comparable occupational groups. Canada's Foreign Service Officers help create Canadian jobs and build prosperity by providing critical support for Canadian businesses and promoting Canadian values abroad, in addition to being critical link to the smooth operation of Canada's immigration system.

my friend got ppr letter yesterday, warsaw is not on strike

Looking back at my life I can't prevent myself from thinking & reproaching it for my stupidity . If I had my 7 years back of this endless waiting and the oppotunities that can not be recompensated and the offers I got at that time & lost for the sake of this illusion , I would have nerver ever even thought of falling into this trape & swallowing the bait . I know It is toooo late to feel regretul now after being tied actually enslaved to the process of waiting.

my friend got ppr last wednesday, warsaw is working hard to finalize remaining applications by the end of june, i hope we(including dent-on,nado,ramlyoussef92) all get our ppr in next 2weeks
