Then it looks as if you may not be potentially inside that 30% of applicants, because you have not received the Request-For-Documents (RFD) Letter. Why ?

Because the RFD stage will give you 120 days (4 months) to submit your docs. I doubt the CHC can give the full decision in one month after that,.... so I would think you may be outside that 30% grouping.

Seniors,... am I right in the above thinking ?

Re: 2006 Applicants @ Nairobi

I did receive a request for updated documents in March 2009.

But my martial situation changed, so I guess it might take a lot of time again.

When do you think can I expect an answer?

Re: 2006 Applicants @ Nairobi

It's almost one-year now since the documents reached CHC,... they wouldn't take that long to peruse everything,... you need to send them a letter and ask them the progress of their checks. If there is going to be any surprise, eg document loss or something, it's best to know earlier,....

Can you do that by this week, and tell me their replies please ?

Alps,... why is your AOR after your updated document request ? I would think AOR means Acknowledgement of Receipt,... and should come before the Letter of Intention,...
