iam 2005 june applicant, any idea when can i receive a call from CHC for the visa.
i had received wL IN JAN 09.ANY IDEA WHEN PROCESSING WILL BEGIN FOR 2005 APPLICANTS OR BACKLOG CASES.

You will get UL in jan 2010 and yr case will thro' in the same year.

I believe we are sailing in the same boat... Mine is March 2005

Received a letter from CHC New Delhi, asking me to send all the details like previous Employers letters, Current Employers letters, Pay slips, Copy of your and your family's passports, photos, Bank statements.. etc .. etc.. by Mar 2009... I have sent all the docs except Passports which they haven't asked by Feb 2009.

No news till now... Just waiting for their updates!

Also when I check my status online, it says "In Process".

Please share your story with me as well .. that can encourage each of us...

I am also in same que. I put my files in august 2005. I am also waiting for reply from CHC New Delhi. I am little worried about my file. Because I am working right now in UAE & I put my file in New delhi. Should I transfer my file in uae at this moment? Because i got some information from some resources that i should not transfer file at this moment. Because they are saying that your file will open in few months.

man4uni can provide list of documents here. so we can start gathering documents. I am going to india in this month. so i can prepare my documents files. Should i require PCC certificate from uae? Because i am staying here since march 2008.

Hey Ankur...

Its been ages I have logged into this as you know this is really frustrating... Please find the list of Docs below,

1. Your Previous Employment Letters which means anything like, Appointment Letters / Resignation Letters / Experience Letters which shows the roles and duties which you have been doing acc. to ur NOC
2. Copies of Passports of all the family members (all the 36 pages, even the pages are blank).
3. Police Clearance Certificate from India as well as UAE (bcoz its been more than 6 months u staying in UAE, I think)
4. Pictures of you and your family dependents.
5. Reports of your Property or Funds.
6. Current Employer's Pay Slips.
7. Updated CV
8. IRPA Application Forms
9. Copy of Passport any relatives leaving in Canada.
10. Proof of Education (i.e. School Certificates and Degrees)
11. Language Skills (A letter / IELTS report)

Hope this is helpful... I know there are many people who just watch the forum but never update with their status... Never mind but I will try my best to help everyone... If I have not replied for more than 5 days just leave me a PM.

You are right some peoples are just watching threads. But they are not sharing their information. Anyway, its their decision.

Man4uni, Any idea about CHC india when they will send me letter for documents update. I put my file in august 2005. Right now, i got one good job offer from qatar. Should i move there or wait for canada file to be open. If i am moving to qatar, should i have to collect PCC certiicate from uae before leaving.

Hey Dude!

If you have stayed more than 6 months in UAE, I would suggest you to get the PCC from there.. And please do not wait for Canadian Immigration as you got a really good opportunity in Qatar (Tax free income)

It seems CHC New Delhi, is still working on 2003 and 2004 backlogs ... so we are still in the wait game for next 8-10 months easily.

If U think its a good job offer go for it... If I were you - I would have booked my Tickets for Doha / Qatar
