20 pics only for new package! Can I arrange it like this?

Hi,

Pics to be sent are limited to 20 pics only.

Can I make a big picture that includes 4-5 pics in it, like we do collage pics? In that way, I would be able to present more pictures even with 20 pics in quantity. What say?

It should be fine. You can use MS Word, Libre Office and the like and add 2-3 or so photos per page and even put a caption for each photos.

Photos of your wedding, customary celebrations, engagement, and/or outings. Provide a maximum of 20 photographs to support your relationship (taken at different times and places). Please write your name and date of birth on the back of each photo and provide a brief description of the context on the back of each photograph; (do not provide CD, DVD, USB keys)

I have to provide details behind each pic, so can't use Word in this case, right?

You can still do what you earlier mentioned. It was just a suggestion on my part. What the instruction says now with the new form is almost exactly what I have done using the old old forms. I used a writer program and put my name and DOB on top of each page with 2-3 photos and captions for each photo. I had a thought that in case my supporting docs or file gets misplaced or set aside, those photos and separate sheets shows my name and DOB

Hey great thought! Then, I should put my name, dob and passport number on all the seperate sheets I have used to answer questions?

It depends. With the old forms, there were forms where it specifically mentioned that when adding separate sheet-- to put your name, title of form and question number of some sort. With the new forms though, I noticed that one is now able to add ie additional rows. Before, adding rows was only available on IMM 0008. The new forms is simply cool and easy now to fill out.

So if they have asked for 20 pics, I will send them 20 Word document pages with 2-3 pics in each. Sound good?

Personally on my part, whether it is 20 pics or 20 pages, as long as there are photos, I won't exceed 20 "pages" as per instruction

Hey, size of the pics matter? If I am trying to adjust atleast 2 pics in a word document then obviously I have to resize them to fit. Am I going right?

the size of the picture doesn't matter, as long as the officer can see it and what it represents.

I have the same question, but on my check list, IMM 5589, it states "20 photographs," personally, I would not exceed 20 photographs. My question is, what kind of photos prove a relationship? What should we be emphasizing here, dates, vacations, or family functions. Also, I was thinking of taking photos that were posted on facebook, thus the immigration officer can see the comments from friends and family, would these photos be considered stronger evidence?

Photos from events, at different places and different time. Functions, ceremony, reception, outings etc.

The requirement doesn't state "20 pages"; it states "20 pictures". What you are trying to do is simply ignore the limit set by IRCC .

Just a tip for the photos...when choosing them, make sure you are both in the photos and try to have a couple that include you both with family and friends.
