20 months of waiting, Still background check on process (PNP SINP) inside Canada

Yes, I called month ago. After short conversation with an officer, they sent me response letter :" application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed." . And quiet again.

They sent me a response letter as well that my application is currently on queue for a review, and they said that background check still on process
