2 years gap... is it ok???

I completed my engineering(electronics) in 2012 and got got the degree in April, now i got admission in Concordia university Masters program (May 2014 intake) but in between i did not had a field related job... I only did part time jobs like teaching (Because of job crisis here in Pakistan) and some courses like GRE n Ielts. Now i am worried that there is a 2 year gap since my last studies; is this long gap ok?? if no then what should i do????

Please please help....

P.S: I have got Quebec Acceptance certificate (CAQ) so i want to fill the visa application ASAP...

I suggest you to provide some full time experience to cover at least 1 year gap. and make sure if embassy calls that employer they verify you as their past employee (very small chances of verification call). And add SOP while applying for Visa.

So is it necessary that that particular company is registered in Pakistan?? can you suggest who can help me?

It can be registered anywhere. But must have some operations where you work. So that you can show your employment.

So what do they normally do to verify the experience certificate?? A friend of mine said that he made a company of his own n presented its certificate... The contact information given in the certificate was one his friends email ID.... Is this possible?

Sometimesthey do call the employer. i suggest must go with some real company.

Gap in study in not a problem. I have 9 years of study gap but I got my study visa. make your study permit application strong. Study permit to Canada is quite straightforward process.

I dont think any issue with it. I hope you will be applying under University Category . SPP has a limitation where 2 years of GAP may have an issue .

You should go for it, i also got offer of admisssion from concordia university and planning for May Intake.

Can you tell me how long it took to get CAQ ? Also i hope your fees will be around 25000$ for 2 years prog ? Do we have to show funds for 1 year(tution+living) at the time we file the Visa.

CAQ takes around 3-4 weeks after you have submitted the documents... yes it it around 25k .... It is highly advisable to pay one year tuition fee apart from showing one year funds (tuition + living) before filing visa...
