2 year study permit approved. Can I change program and intake (same DLI)?

I got my approval for a 2-yr program starting September 2022. Now I want to "defer" and start on September 2023 with another program (1-yr program). I'm not sure if defer is the correct term since I'll be changing programs but same DLI. Is this possible?

I have the same question, but I just want to defer my original program from 22 Fall to 23 May. I don’t know if I need to re-apply my study permit.
