2 year pgd in canadian university

hello friends . i read some of the posts emphasizing that a 2 year course comprising of 4 semesters can be completed in 16 months. if a person starts from winter 2012.. and one year has three sems ( summer intake being optional ) ..whats the earliest time that one can complete the pgd :( the university says some candidates complete in just 16 months ). does that mean if one starts in jan 12..he can complete the pgd by april 13. or some other meaning to minimum 16 months can be inferred. please share your views. ;D

Yes, you have option to finish your 2 year course in 16 months (only if your school permits to take more credit hours in one semester). You will get a Post Graduate Work Permit for 3 years.

Usually its not a good idea to take more thn a required minimum number of credit hour course as it may affect your overall academic performance.
