2 year Diploma (WINTER 2017)

Hi, I got a offer letter for winter 2017 term in a 2 year Business diploma and the dates there were " January 2017 - April 2018 ".
The only way to finish those 4 semesters in those dates are if the classes continue in the whole year without a break ( example , 1st term january-april 2nd term may-august 3rd september-december and finally 4th term(2018) january-april). Is that how the the terms work if you start in winter ?
I am confused,hope I made sense.

Hi,
I think you need to contact your college/university regarding this as it may depend on the college . I too am starting in the same term but my program has a break in the summer term . So its better to consult the program coordinator .
