Hello everyone!

I have a 2-year bachelor degree in Mining Engineering based on my previous 4-year degree in Foreign Languages. In Kazakhstan it was allowed to obtain a Bachelor degree within 2 years, if you already have 4 years of another Bachelor (it is not allowed anymore for Technical studies).
I have just received Document-by-Document WES report and they evaluated both of my Degrees as 4-years bachelor each! I was surprised. I was sure, WES would evaluate my 2-year bachelor as a Technology College Diploma. (I have applied for report upgrade to a Course-by-Course for studies just now).

Do you think I could apply for a Master program? Or university admission decision can overwrite WES evaluation (because I only have 48 credits in my 2-year Bachelor Program, and I am afraid the 128 credits from my 4-year Foreign Languages program will be non-applicable to Mining Engineering Masters).

I also have 5 years of experience as a Mining Engineer, do you think they will count it?

Thank you in advance for any advice on this.

It's not upto anyone here on forum -WHAT DO THEY THINK!
You need to talk to the university and ask them and show them your WES papers. My bachelor program was initially 2yrs only from a #NoFrills Australian shitty institute. But for some injuries, it took me 3.5 years to complete. I contacted the university in Canada and ask them about my situation. They asked for WES but I didn't have time yet they accepted me without WES and their 4yrs degree policy requirements.

You never know until you ask them mate! Email them!
Good Luck

Thank you for your answer. I wrote to a couple of them and now waiting. However, i think I will need to apply to know for sure.
