Hello all,
First, I don't know if I should post my question here or in some other section; like visitors visas.

I am an international student in Canada, I have been there for a while now. I am already married and have 2 children, one was born back home before we came to Canada, and the other was born in Canada. I am planing to marry a second wife in my home country, where it is fully legal, and officially documented, and both wives and the people will know that I will be having these 2 wives.

Can the second wife come to live with me in Canada, or not? We will have 2 separate housing unit near each other for each wife.

Can I issue a VISA for my second wife, or not?

If not allowed, what will happen if after my second wife come by herself w/o telling CIC that she is my wife when issuing her VISA, and then she and I live together in the unit near the other unit for my 1st wife, and get pregnant and after 9 months gives birth to a baby; what will happen to the birth certificate; because it will have both of our names and CIC have no record that we are married? Will the baby have both parents names on his/her long form birth certificate? if you remember, I already have a baby from the 1st wife with both of our names on the long form birth certificate.
What will happen to the custody of the new born baby from the 2nd wife? Will we be able to have the baby live with his/her mother; the 2nd wife?

Thanks,
But

both links do not, I repeat do not answer my questions, nor they are related to my issue.

I love my wives (the 2nd to be), and they both love me back. We are not seeking citizenship/nationality nor child support/benefits. We live in Canada temporarily, and when we are done our business in Canada we will leave.

Please read my post carefully, before suggesting any links, if in doubt about my story, please ask me; and I will try to clear or explain better, just in order to get an answer for all of my questions I mentioned.

Truthfully,
cicgcca

CIC will not recognize your second marriage. Consequently your second wife will not be entitled to any of the benefits that are typically given to spouses.

She can certainly apply for a visitors visa. However she will have to do this completely independently and won't be able to benefit in any way from your student status.

If and when you apply for PR, you will only be able to include your first wife in the application. If your second wife wishes to immigrate to Canada as well, she will have to qualify independently (e.g. as a skilled worker).

Polygomy is illegal in Canada so you can get arrested and jailed if the authorities find out....

Having said that, there is no requirement for the father of a child to be married to the mother. So, on the birth certificate you can be listed as the father. CIC has no say so in this matter, as far as they are concerned it is between you and your wife (the first one, who is the only one that will be legally recognized as your wife).

As far as an immigration benefits for the second "wife" she will have to qualify on her own....
