I got ita with 2 year working experience and pointed has been added by the time I got my ita.

However I checked the exact date I worked and realize I still need to work 2 more week to accumulate 2 years experience.

If I did not add the extra points, I would not have enough points for this ITA.

What to do, proceed or decline or keep proceeding with opening a new profile?

*sigh*

i would decline just to avoid mis-representation of application and i am sure with the two more weeks, you will be in for next draw and points will further drop and you will have definite chance looking at the trends

So what you mean is, they will determine if you are qualified at the time of ITA? Because Ita is prior to the e-APR.

Can I open a new profile and see what happen next round and then withdraw the old one?

Decline and wait till you complete full two years. CIC calculator functionality is lame. Dont rely on what that tells you. Calculate two full years on your own.

No need to create new profile. Wait for 3-4 weeks for next invite so you safely clear 2 year mark

That's not what I mean at all, please read it thoroughly and understand how an application is assessed.

yeah you can just create another profile and wait and for next draw.

The above is incorrect, it is against immigration law: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=864&top=6

"Under section A11.2, an officer may not issue a visa to an applicant who did not or does not meet the Express Entry minimum entry criteria (MEC) or did not or does not possess the qualifications for which they received their CRS score at the time when

the Invitation to Apply (ITA) was issued; or
the e-APR was received by IRCC."

Means I have to fulfill both condition?

Meaning you have to fulfill either one - unfortunately it is up to you to decide as there is a lot of disagreement in this forum regarding this topic.

Hi all,
I have more than 3 years of work experience in last 10 years in a particular job category in which i applied for FSW.
When i calculate from 10 yrs back from the date ITA received, my experience is 3 years and one month.
My concern is TILL WHEN IS THE EXPERIENCE CALCULATED...IS IT TILL DATE YOU RECEIVE
ITA OR IS IT THE DATE YOU SUBMIT THE e-APR FORM.
kINDLY aDVICE

I got the points for more than 3 years experience category
So worried ....about the the time frame
currently i am in another category job and i cant claim the points forexperience

That doesn't make sense. Are you saying cutoff met at the time of ITA but not at the time of eAPR is Ok?

I believe both requirements need to be met.

You are taking "or" out of context.
E.g., when I say I will fire you if you have not done *this* or have not done *that* -- it means I will fire you if you failed to do either.

Thanks for the reply
I got points for 3 years or more in my ee profile.
but because of last 10 year frame, it is reducing and currently i am not working in the same job category.
i got ITA on march 1st and i have 3 years and one month experience, but if i submit e-APR after march , then my experience is only 3 yrs.
Is that ok
Please advice
