Hi everyone ,

Plz i need your advice. Im a refugee claimant since may 2017.my negative decision was on aug 2018 ,now I'm going through federal court process. Since i came to Canada we (me and my 2 daughters) didn't see my husband. One of my daughters is Canadian. Is there any way that we can meet with him!!!!! I've been told that for sure his visit visa will be rejected. But till now he didn't meet his Canadian daughter!!! Some ppl told me that we can meet through the American Canadian borders is that true!!!???.

Another question .can a refugee claimant apply for PR through common law sponsorship or he should drop his refuggee case?

Thanks

Yes - you should expect that your husband's visitor visa will be rejected.

Where is your husband right now? What passport does he hold?

He is in UAE .He is Lebanese.

He needs a TRV to come to Canada. Given you have a failed refugee claim - there's almost zero chance this would be approved. Although I suppose you can certainly try.

No - you can't. You can't leave Canada. He would need to enter Canada - and he needs a TRV to do this.
