Dear Senior Members,
Pls help me with this topic.

There's a section in the student visa form for any visa rejection from other countries.

Is it recommended to mention more than 5 Years old? I will definitely mention the US Visa denial but the Schengen visa got approved.

1. Student visa for US in 2010 denied.
2. Schengen tourist visa denied in 2012 October approved next week on reapplication.

Is it Mandatory to mention about the Schengen visa which got approved. As there are 2 cases i am in a dilemma, Please help.

My Profile:
Admit MBA from Uni of Alberta Fall 2017.
Education : MS in electrical from University of Strathclyde UK.
Work Exp 5+ Years in Electrical in Construction Industry.

I'm afraid to tell you that you have chosen a wrong program. You will most likely get a rejection.

P.S You can mention about US visa only as your Schengen visa got approved later.

Yes, it is mandatory to mention ALL refusals. The question doesn't just say refusals in the last 5 years. It doesn't matter that the second Schengen visa was application was approved; the first app was refused and you must mention it.

It's because of MBA program and the fact that you have had two refusals from other countries. It would make perfect sense to them that you only want to move to Canada.

Your choice of program must match with previous work experience and education.

Thanks for your reply!
Yes i will mention even the Schengen Tourist Visa, I am quite positive about the Visa, but very tensed about how the visa officer will view these inclusions in the form.

You may be right and i too am quite sure the course is not wrong.
But as far as i have read even career changes are possible after the MBA.
As the MBA is a business education.

Nothing wrong with your course, there are musicians, doctors, lawyers etc going for MBA in Canada.

Thanks for the information! really appreciate

I really need this MBA to expand my current business knowledge and to acquire the tools required
to move to senior managerial positions.

I would rate Uni of Alberta MBA as quite decent. You must mention all refusals correctly on the application form. You got no other option.

No doubt, you must mention all refusals clearly.

Thanks for replying :)
Is it ok to mention for the refusals: Country - Year- Category.
Would this be sufficient?
or any explanation for each refusal is required.
