Hi,
My EE profile under FSW returned as ineligible. I have CLB 10, WES education verification and 10 years of experience. Only thing I can think of is that when I moved to Canada in May 2015 on a promoted position (in same team, company) my job NOC changed from 2173(IT Professional) to 0213(IT Manager). Can that cause my profile to be ineligible?

That won't render you ineligible. You will be ineligible if you score less than 67 on the FSW grid.

www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

Remember that only paid experience of NOC 0/A/B gained under the Primary NOC (as identified in your EE profile) and within the last 10 years counts towards the Work experience points in the grid. Recommend that you choose 2173 as Primary if you have maximum experience in that NOC.

I have a question. I have close to 5 years experience in NOC 2173 (Software Engineer), and i have one year experience in NOC 2174 (Software Developer) categor. Which NOC should i create the express entry profile?
I am planning to go with 2174, since that's my current job in Canada. What do you think?

If you're eligible for CEC, doesn't matter. If you're eligible only for FSW, go with NOC 2173 as that will give you 13 points (4-5 years) for work experience on the FSW grid against 9 points (1 year) for NOC 2174.

Thanks man. Few more questions?

1. Is that ok if the employment reference letter from HR Manager instead of immediate supervisor?
2. The work hours, salary, and benefits should be in same page in reference letter or it can separate page(meant second page or separate document with company header)?
3. I believe, NOC job description is generic, and i have responsibilities for software developer which matches the description from company job postings in job bank. Is that ok?
4. Is Inland FSW and CEC process is slower than Outland. Inland means applying from inside Canada right?
5. I red that if you eligible for both FSW and CEC then you will get the ITA for FSW? Is that true?

Thanks man. +1 for your effort.

Can be on separate pages.

One can only speculate, no official data on this yet.

Yes.

Thanks man. One more question. I am working in Canada with Open Post Graduation Work Permit(PGWP). I am eligible for both FSW and CEC. If i get the ITA under FSW Inland then should i need to show POF ($12000) or i don't need to show?

If you're eligible for both, you will receive the ITA under FSW and you'll have to show POF. If you can somehow edit your profile details in order to be eligible only for CEC (without losing CRS points), you will not have to show POF.

Damn. i am planning to apply in 3 months. Is that ok if i save money in 3 months, and show the POF?

1. Does bank balance statement from bank is enough, or i have to show six months statement? Lets say if i have 3000, and if i build he savings from now to upto 12000 in three months. Is that ok?

Thanks man.

1. Edit your profile and show funds available as Zero to see if this can help you become eligible only for CEC. Solves the problem.

2. If you can prove that the money isn't borrowed and show clear source of funds, you can apply in 3 months time as well. If the bank letter mentions 6 months average balance, you don't need to submit 6 months bank statements. Else those are mandatory submissions.

I had the same issue, I changed my NOC and my profile became ineligible.

The EE system is stupid because if the NOC in section 1 of your work history is different from NOC in section 4, then the profile will go ineligible.

Unfortunately, there is no way to fix this except creating new profile.

All the best

Actually, NOC changes can cause profile to be ineligible after it was eligible, had similar situation in Dec 2015

Yes. NOC change can render a previously eligible EE profile ineligible but that wasn't the OP's question.

The ineligibility stems from an applicant's incomplete and poor understanding of the purpose of Primary NOC not any inherent stupidity on the EE system.

Hello Friends,

I have 9 years of experience in BPO (Call center) dealing with U.S clients. I have been a team lead for 4 years and have done first party and third party collections, credit card verification, fraud detection, chargeback, credit administration.

Does anybody know what should be my NOC category? Please suggest.
