I have applied through SPP at VFS Chennai on 1st april, no news yet ..

Anyone else who has applied on the same date ?

i got an email at 1pm IST today..

Wait till you get passport if you do not get mail. Many people do not get mail but get visa stamped on it. So don't worry.. But Last time my passport dispatched and didn't get any mail and got rejection letter with passport... So hope for the best..
Let us know when you get passport.
