19th Month and application still says jsut recieved

So i applied on March 01st, 2013 and my ECAS still says application received. I've gotten the MP office to look into the file and they said I've passed all the steps and the next step would be the medical request. But I've been waiting and waiting and still nothing.

Has anyone else been in this situation and did you get medicals after 19 months?
Should i just give up?

I really don't know how much longer I can wait.

My case is kind of similar as yours. My Ecas status changed to In Process after application has been filed for 18 months. I am still waiting for PPR now.

It's most likely security checks that have taken a long time. If MP said everything has passed then you should get your medical request soon. Have you tried ordering your GCMS?
