That is the shitty part.. if there was a pick every two weeks, then score would easily drop below 450. But it seems they are manipulating the score by making the pics extremely erratic. Remember the long break after the ITAs on April 28th? That was so that the threshhold didn't fall below 450..bestofluck said:There are less chances of a draw on 2nd October. All the draws have taken place in second week and not between 1st and 7th of the month. Still lets hope for the draw.
It's not manipulation - it's the point of the system. If the score drops too fast, there's no real reason for the points at all.praneet87 said:That is the *censored word*ty part.. if there was a pick every two weeks, then score would easily drop below 450. manipulation is on the draw dates. They know the point distribution in the pool. If they don't see more than ~1500 people with >450 points, they skip a week.kateg said:It's not manipulation - it's the point of the system. If the score drops too fast, there's no real reason for the points at all.
Again, that's by design. They can't control how many apply, so they pick the size of the applicant pool, and a rough target score, then delay the date until they can meet their overall goals. That's math, not manipulation.mf4361 said:manipulation is on the draw dates. They know the point distribution in the pool. If they don't see more than ~1500 people with >450 points, they skip a week.
The rules they made mandated them to draw everyone about the draw score, but not the draw dates and size of each draw.
I think its a bit of both math and manipulation. If it was purely math, they would set the parameters in their program (draw every 2 weeks, no matter what; or draw only people above 450; or draw only 1500 people) but it isn't purely math because they keep changing the parameters to get the outcome they want. Now, reading your past posts on topics such as this, I know you will come back strong and angry, so let me just agree with you before you even point it out that yes, it is their right to do so and yes, PR is a privilege not a right, bla bla bla.. Bottom line is, they manipulate the formulas to control the outcome of the draw.kateg said:Again, that's by design. Either submit your application after 1st November or decline this ITA and wait for another. You will always be invited under FSW as long as you qualify for both FSW and CEC.reddy456 said:hey guys, a quick question. I got an invite 1 month earlier than it supposed to be given. i was on 443 before, with one year canadian experience. i was supposed to get 456 by november. but i was awarded 456 on october 1st, wierd i must say. And got an invite for fsw whn it should have been for CEC. Any faced a similar problem beforeÉ,, please reply
