Can anyone advise about question 10.B? What they mean in the past four years (does it mean the four years back from my date of application ). If I apply today April 26, 2019, do I have to count four years back April 26, 2015?

I actually received my police certificate and wondering if I can attach it to the application will that matter even if I spent less than 183 days.

Hi

Yes you do need PCC in that case. Check cic website by your country name. Some country doesn’t give PCC to non residents of that country

1. No, read the instructions police certificates, they state 183 days in a row.

On page 3 of the form CIT 0002 (06-2018) E, it says, “you must provide a police certificate for each country where you have been present for 183 days or more”

So yes if you were in and out of the same country for more than total of 183 days during your eligibility period, you do need to provide a police certificate. However, police certificates cannot be obtained from some countries and cic mentioned that in their website.

That is the old version.. the current version is CIT 0002 (02-2019) E

Which says "you must provide a police certificate for each country where you have been present for 183 days or more in a row".

Thanks .. that’s good to know. New version sounds clearer too.

Hello Guys,

I landed as a Permanent Resident in the month of Feb 2016 and prior to that I was in USA, do I need to provide Police Clearance Certificate from US again as I have submitted this with the original application when applying for PR?

Thanks and I appreciate your response.
