You always seem to dodge criticizing IRCC at all, not that it would matter of course, but why? We all applied on time just like everybody else, and even though some may require extra "processing", I still see no valid reason except incompetence (with a significant number of agents) in the process on the side of IRCC to finalize these long due applications. I've chatted with friends living in other countries where the process is completely transparent at every stage of the application, but not with ours. Did you see the interview with the immigration minister about the extended delay of Iranian applicants waiting for their PR? He kept dodging the question and refused to give a clear answer. In my case, they've been conducting a background check since March 2018, what kind of a background check takes that long? Are they telling me that after one year they still can't determine if I am a threat to Canada or not? I've been in Canada for 10 years now, but they still can't determine my validity for becoming a citizen. You can certainly sense my frustration, but I simply can't help it.
