App Recd - 16 SEPT 2014
Payment mode - HDFC Bank DD
Country - INDIA
DD encashed - 6 DEC 2014 (confirmed by the bank today).........I'm ecstatic to say the least )))))

I am August 28 Applicants. Payment made through DD. I still don't have PER. Applicants from September DD mode has started recieving PER. This is a bit difficult to belief.

Dear Subin,
Unfortunately no. There is no way to find out the status before the charge. You can call n find out once your app has completed atleast 60 days at cic. However, the cic has been processing applications very fast in the last month. They've already charged middle of oct apps as we speak. I think you'll be charged either late Jan or early Feb. the best part of the cc is that you'll come to know the payment processed immediately. Just make sure you have informed the bank to expect an international charge for the specified amount. I know This waiting is terrible and you need to hang onto your sanity what I did was researched about various job offerings, accommodations, etc and of course, stayed online and followed the progress on the forum. Don't once you start doing all of the above the time will fly....... ;D wishing ou all the best....a speedy charge......takecare

I am august applicant. Application received date 29th aug..as per bank, my DD has been encashed before 25th Nov but I have not heard anything from CIC yet...eagerly waiting for PER...
