Mine has been In Progress since September 3rd 2014 and I'm a February 26th 2014 Applicant. If you're past your 16 months (which is the processing time amount) you can now call/email CIC and they have to let you know what's holding up your application, have you already called?

Yeah that last time I called was a few months ago, now it's just the automated message saying due to a high volume of calls they cannot connect you. Maybe send them an email? They will definitely respond it just may take around 2-3 weeks. As the processing times have changed from 17 months to 16 months they should be able to let you know what status your application is at now as it is past 16 months.

Yeah I know the feeling, it's depressing seeing people applying under the new Points System and having their PR already when there is many of us still waiting 16 months later.... my 16 months is up at the end of June so I'm going to hound my Lawyer at the beginning of July to make sure he calls them to figure out what's holding up my application and taking so long. It seems that unfortunately Feburary was a very unlucky month as most of our applications are still being processed and are delayed...

Haha SpoonRaccoon thats exactly what i feel like saying lol

Its even more annoying when people i work with applied in august and are already getting ppr.
There telling me its waiting to be reviewed by an officer but cant they review mine before they start sending out ppr for people who applied 6 months after. Ah well hopefully wont be much longer

Hi, I am January 2014 applicant the last time I called Cic told them it reaches 16 months already and they checked it in the Cic office. The response they receive was still need to review by an officer and I still need to wait.
