Hi sorry I forgot to mention. I graduated on the 31st of December 2016 and I started working from the 16th of Jan 2017 and got my PGWP on the 4th of Feb 2017. Do I have to include it in my letter or the Transcript date or certificate date will prove it?

Let me know please. Thanks
The purpose of the letter is to explain why you think that the work experience from 16 Jan - 04 Feb should count. It counts because you were no longer a full-time student, and because work after graduation is authorized while waiting for the PGWP. You include the dates, and the documents should support it.

What is about unpaid vacation? I have exactly 1 year experience in canada, but during this I had 3 weeks unpaid days. I have little bit more than 1560 hours. I got ITA even I mentioned I didn't have 1 year.

Othervise how cic will know the details? They don't want pay stub, only T4 which does not mention hours, and employer letter mentions only working hours and start date.

I am not sure this is correct. My understanding is that your authorization to work under a study permit ends the day you graduate or complete your program UNLESS you have applied for the PGWP the next day or your study permit otherwise specifies you can work. I graduated in mid-December 2016, worked until Dec 31 at the same university on my study permit, applied for and was granted PGWP on Jan 4 2016. I don't count any work before my work permit, and my university wouldn't certify work done before Jan 4 in a reference letter. They said the dates must match my work permit.
Did you continue the same (student?) job before and after graduation?
You apparently applied for the PGWP at a POE?

For a while, there was some language on the IRCC website suggesting that if you had not applied for the PGWP before graduation, then you were not authorized to work before you received the PGWP (even though you have 3 months to apply). That language has since disappeared.

Given processing times and the OP's dates, you are correct that I assumed he applied for the PGWP before graduation, but I am not sure it matters. (I do forget that you can now get the PGWP at the border if eligible).

Can I work while I am waiting to receive my post-graduation work permit?

There's unpaid, and then there's... vacation pay added to each paycheck (common for hourly workers), so that time off looks unpaid, but actually has been paid in advance.

Are you an hourly worker? Or was it truly an unpaid leave of absence? If the latter, then you cannot count those 3 weeks...

I got ITA even I mentioned I didn't have 1 year.

That's because the automated system looks only at mm/yyyy, but eligibility is calculated using mm/dd/yyyy, IRCC advises you that it is up to YOU to determine whether or not you are eligible. Lots of people have been refused because of this...

Othervise how cic will know the details? They don't want pay stub, only T4 which does not mention hours, and employer letter mentions only working hours and start date.

Not so, the letter of reference must also include (among other things) remuneration information (salary or hourly wages), so using the hours worked per week and pay rate, the VO can calculate how much you should have earned, and cross-check it against your T4. They will also know if you have left the country from your travel history...

See the section on Proof of Work Experience for more details on what should be in the letter...

Or I could apply on the 4th and not have to explain at all right?

Thank you, thank you!
The 3 weeks were really unpaid, I did not get pay stub for that period.
I went to my country (I have been living in Canada), so I don't have to mention that period in my work history. Am I right or not?
Yes, I am getting payment per hours, so it's easy to count how many hours I did work. But is more then 1560.
And I will have T4 only for 2016, not for 2017.
Everything is becoming more confusing.

What matters is what your letter of employment says - start date, end date, hours worked per week, and salary/wage/remuneration.

Counting hours is for part-time workers, not full-time.

And I will have T4 only for 2016, not for 2017.
Unless you worked January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016, you probably do not qualify. You need to work a full 52 weeks (regardless of the # of hours worked).

Maybe just wait until you have 53 weeks given although a few days isnt going to make a lot of difference why not have a buffer and whats waiting another week in the whole scheme of things..

I personally never understand the need to apply for example almost at the stroke of midnight on the completion of the qualifying period given the overall process takes so long and that extra time just provides a last chance to review have all documentation in place and ready to go.

One year is the minimum requirement to qualify under CEC.

Technically you do not qualify. If you have no other options and are willing to gamble, there's nothing stopping you from trying. The VO should refuse, if s/he goes "by the book." However, sometimes VOs make mistakes in the applicant's favor. Stranger things have happened. But no one here can tell you that it will be OK.

Seems the rules are clear in that one year full time means one year and not one year less 6 days so you should probably expect a refusal unless there is a mistake but then that creates another scenario that you knowlingly have not met the requirement.

Hey there, I have a question and would be very grateful for some advice.

My visa ends this year on October 13th. I started working a part time job October 22nd 2016 (14hrs a week) and am still working there.
Also at the start of November 2016 I started working a full time job (35 hrs a week.)

Although my full time job falls short of 1 year worked. Would I also be able to use my part time work for extra credit (works out to roughly 6 months.)

Thank you
