Hello,

I'm interested in CEC program.
I will get a working holiday visa soon.

I think I can work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week without taking a day off.
If I do that, I think I can work up to 1700 hours in five months.

Once I successfully work 1500 hours in skilled occupation that is in the list, can I submit my CEC application even though it's not completely one year?

Also, I want to know how to prove that 1500 hours working time. Should I receive all of my wage in bank transfer so later I can submit my bank document as a proof?
Some employers are interested in giving checks only... and some employers offer cash.
But, I think bank transfer is the only way to leave employer's name in my bank account.

I see.

How can you prove your working hours then?

Do you have to receive all money in your bank account?

I don't think there's a way to prove it if I get everything in cash.

The work experience you'll be claiming later has to be skilled or meet the requirements of the stream you're planning on applying to.

What kind of work will you be doing if I might ask? Cash and sometimes cheques...sounds like multiple income sources. Normally, you're offered a contract that outlines a starting date, duties, salary, etc. and most companies use direct deposit into a Canadian bank account.

Read up on the requirements. You'll have to submit T4s and NOAs at some point. How are you going to do that if there's no record of your income/tax deductions. Make sure you're working for a legit company that is willing to issue a contract and later a solid reference letter.

Again, familiarize yourself with the process and requirements.

What are T4s and NOAs????

I want to work as a graphic designer or a landscaper.
I will see which will work. Both of them are in NOC list.

Also, should I work in one NOC for 1500 hours?

I would like to have two jobs sometimes...

T4 is a tax form you will receive from your employer
NOA (notice of assessment) is a confirmation that you've filled your taxes and everything is fine that you will get from Canada Revenue Agency

You need the hours in any jobs - as many as you like, more than one at the time etc as long as they qualify as skilled work.
You just need to get 1560 hours of experience over 12+ months. Important note: only up to 30 hours of experience a week counts towards that goal - everything over that doesn't roll over, but it works out quite well: year has 52 weeks, 52 * 30h = 1560h

You should be aware that under the Canadian Experience Class, self-employment experience is not eligible. When you say you are paid in "cash" that usually means off the books / under the table, neither of which are legal (or eligible), as the government of Canada wants you and your employers to pay all due taxes.

Also, should I work in one NOC for 1500 hours?

You need to know that regardless of what your employer says, CIC/IRCC defines "full time" as "30 or more hours per week." Part-time is fewer than 30 hours per week.

You can combine jobs with different NOCs, the only requirement is that combined, you need at least 12 months/52 weeks of full-time skilled work (or the equivalent in part-time experience - which is 1560 hours, which takes longer than 1 year to acquire if you work part-time.)

If you hold two part-time jobs simultaneously - for example, 20 hours per week at one job, 20 hours per week at another - you can combine that to 40 hours per week, and it will be considered like full-time. But you need to keep very good records of your hours worked per week, save paystubs, contracts, etc.

Thanks for that info.

I will be employed by a person who has LMIA and work permit.

I will scan all contract forms and save them into PDF.

I will buy a safe lock and put all the documents in it so no one will claim that I didn't work at all.
