14 day quarantine - stay in Vancouver or transit to Toronto?

Hello,
I am planning on flying in to Canada to fulfill my CoPR this week. I plan on living in Toronto, but because of flight unavailability, I have to first land in Vancouver. With the new 14 day quarantine rules, I was wondering if it's ok for me to do my landing interview etc in Vancouver, and then on the same day transit to Toronto? Or do I have to do my 14 day quarantine in Vancouver first?

If you are planning to quarantine anyway, why not do it in Vancouver? I mean you won't be able to go anywhere and it makes more sense to quarantine in Vancouver. Not insisting that you are infected, but you always have to assume you are infected.

You are still ok to transit to your final destination but seeing that you will have to do your landing interview at the first Canadian airport make sure to leave enough time before your connecting flight.

If you do not show any symptoms for Covid, you will be allowed to continue your travel to Toronto wherein you can isolate for 14 days.
