Dear All,

Need your advise, my 120day deadline will expired yesterdaym, but we have not yet received my husbands passport, please could u tell me if i could submit the documents late, will the consulate accept it? What should do in this situation, I am expecting the passport after 2weeks.

Can i submit documents after 120day deadline, say 2weeks late?

regards,

Monica...

You need to submit docs with in 120 days. If your docs are submitted after this dedaline, your app will be refused.

Not harm trying though at this stage and also you can try send your husband's PP copy after two weeks. But be prepared for negative outcome in case deadline has already breached

Worth a try. If thats my case, I'd create a cover letter stating the delay. :)

send ur documents ASAP along with a cover letter for the passports.

Thanks for your inputs, I am calculating my 120day deadline, from the day I received email from the consulate, am i right?

You need to calculate 120 days deadline from the date of the letter not the date on which you received that particular letter. Either ways the best thing to do at this stage is send all of the available document ASAP and later on once u get your husband's PP, write a covering letter and send remaining docs.

Also note that if you fail to submit your docs within 120days there are most likely chances that your application will be rejected (sorry to say that).

Act fast.

Calculate the days from the date on the AOR letter. Hope you still have time to rush and get things under control
