When did you get the good news about PER?
When was your application received the 4th of July or the 8th of July (as in your data) ????
Did you receive PER by email or regular mail?

Yes PER mail comes on the email address you provided on your application. I applied on 8th July.

After verification and assessment of our application CIC must have generate this or this is just a reciept of our documents towards CIC?
What does PER actually stands for? PER is not mentioned anywhere in the process stated by CIC official site; so asking the same...
Does this mean that now, CIC will transfer the file to our respective VO to process ahead and VO will give the file number??

Can you pls guide me regarding exact steps towards successful Immigration??

you should receive PER email anytime as asyed has the same filing date as you & he received his PER already.
If you used representative he will receive email on your behalf.

PER (positive eligibility review) is the unofficial term coined in post 26th June thread of the same forum. It is AOR in another words with an addition that it's now just not a mere acknowledgement but a confirmation that not only your app qualifies for further processing but has been assessed against the six selection factors & you have the requisite pass mark of 67. Thereafter your file is transferred to VO for Background/security/medical checks & final issuance of visa & COPR.

Can you guys paste the exact e-mail at this blog send by an authority ? by which we all know how/what format we may expect the PER at our inbox??.....

No not me ,they are Fazeme, crazyberns ( both 4th July) & asyed (5th July) who got PER. It's not my turn yet.

hi everyone,

back aftre a long silence.
interesting to see some of the older members have gone silent.

more interestingly we don't seem to be 100% sure yet of many things. cap closed date, CC/BD charge process, validity of emails/

someone in this forum whose CC/BD was charged agreed to sedn and email to see the sort of response received. was this done?


i am currently working on a theory that may shed some light. await results in a few days ;D

No Sandip not me but others from the thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/july-01-2011-fsw-applicantsmi-3-t74992.3090.html have got PER. I applied on 8th July & CIO is issuing PERs to 4th & 5th July applications right now.

Canadavisa.com - Canada Immigration Lawyers We have been receiving some files that were returned which were submitted around July 8th, however there is no official confirmation of when the 1122 cap was reached.

Yes if you could would you share the link to the correct Facebook page/Tab? I have looked and searched on FB but can't seem to find the right page or your posting to them unless you PM'd them the message? Also there have been people whos cards/ BD's have been charged in this NOC code and after 8th July - my feeling is the Immigration teams do sometimes give excuses that are not related directly to the applicant, but this is only what i have read from news articles online.

The email you received is different from other returned emails that few people have received.
Unlike last year, can it be that along with completeness check they are also conducting some sort of initial review(if they qualify or not) of applications before including them in cap ?
In that case 8th July will not be the cut-off date.

Completely agree! There has to be some other criteria that they're considering, which explains why the cap was considered complete on 22nd Aug.
