Ok Spicey. I will let you know. My application was delivered on 25 th July. If yours was delivered earlier, then I should expect to hear from you first. Lets keep hoping.

I suspect there may be some backlog with the accounts department.

This is where it would be very useful for CIC to publish the last date of applications which were accepted within the cap, once a cap is full. Would spare everyone this guessing game, especially those who are borderline of getting within the cap.

Hi Wayne,

The CIC wouldn't give a date, it wouldn't be possible to do that as a definate, as guide they could but lets say they had 499 applications in, yours and mine arrive on the next day but yours is reviewed before mine, same date received but one is ok one is returned - people would go mad if they gave a misleading date is all i'm saying :)

today is a great day for the CC to be charged. the canadian dollar is weak against the rupee. if charged today CC guys will save a coupe of thousand rupees :P ;D

Yes the CAD is really weak these past days. May be the accounts department at the Receiver General for Canada is waiting for the CAD to improve vis a vis other currencies befor they charge CC. But for those who paid by BD the is no FX impact since the money was locked up at the rate the day the draft was drawn, Just my opinion

i suppose the indians will loose more money for a weak cad? is it right? shijoal

Can some one help me ? I need a help. My problem is regarding printing error in my increment letter, which I submitted to CHC. If there is any printing error in work expereinece letter than it will affect my case file or not ? If yes how ... I need some logical answer if some one knows.
There is mistake in a date. Affected increment should be in 2011 but by mistake it shows 2010 in that letter. Issue of letter date is correct.

well Sango

It wont make any difference to Receiver General of Canada if CAD is weak or not!! Becoz CAD 1100 will remain CAD 1100 now or afterwards, untill or unless they need to buy USD from their CAD Amount. And i dont think they need to buy USD or any other currency from CAD.

Yes, it will offcourse make difference to the applicants!! when the cc is charged (becoz of the changing conversion rates)

Jason's cc was charged on 24th (but he is not sure whether 22 or 24) and his application reached on 13th july. Here is the link

We all should be hopeful too!!

Guys,

I am new to this forum.

FYI:

I submitted my application on July 27th 2011 via courier and it was received the very next day.

Do you guys think it made the cap? When I checked the count on Aug 9 (thereabouts) it stall had not reached 500 as yet for NOC1122

In addition, I currently have GCE A'Levels (with the word DIPLOMA) on the top of the certificate. So I clicked on 14 years of school and two year diploma when I was doing the questionnaire for "welcome to canada" which executed positive results.

Did I do the correct thing. I did infact spend 14 years of FTS.

It is clear that CIC Accounts Dept is very busy, they will be processing more than 250,000 applications in total in 12 months. In this forum, we are just discussing category 1122.

There are loads of other applicants (i.e. family category) needs to be processed, so there is no wonder there is delay in payment processing.
