" <FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca>; It has been 6 weeks since submission of your applications, you are allowed to check with them...

Grim even I 'm wating to know regarding BD, but the bank people are citing stupid reasons to shun it. Today, Fri is bank holiday & on Sat they say they have more work the day after a holiday.Then it's a Sunday.So for us no info before Mon/Tue. I'm not sure again as they can cite any other reason to not check it thereafter.

I'd like to wait before sending a search inquiry to CIO.

but if you dont have a file number what reference are you supposed to give?

I can quote my own example.. Last year my file was sent back as it did not make it into the CAP and thereby I did not have any file number.. Despite that I could email them and get the information from them that mine has been sent back.. Long before I actually received my kit back.. Please email them with all the details like Name, probably passport number etc.. They definitely respond.. How else do you think can a person whose application did not make it into the CAP come to know about the status?

We had sent an inquiry last year
You can include details in your email like

Courier datails: Sent date, Received date, Tracking No, Signed for By etc.
Details of PA: Name, NOC, VO, DOB, Place of Birth, Passport No. etc.

Any guess for CIO stop updating website after 10th Aughust.My wild guess is that they are may be waiting for CC/BD charged for applications which had been counted within the cap but their payments have not yet processed by Receiver General of Canada...

Hiberantion of CIC is making people go crazy.....

Atleast they can state 500 reached & ensure that no further applications are received to stop anxiety & stress among so many people...

Do they understand the pain???

Did our seniors suffer like this...hope they hear us & update it asap.....
