Ravi dear, please also say that the world will end in 2012... so no chance to reach Canada!!!! ;)

Applications received toward the overall cap: 632 of 10,000 as of August 3, 2011 (COPIED AND PASTED FROM CIC WEBSITE)1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management 307

My understanding of this sentence is that all of those who sent complete applications till August 3 are 307. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi all, I'm new to the forum I just wanted to give my details to update the spreadsheet:

Application Sent : 21TH JULY 2011
Application Received : 25TH JULY 2011
VO: ROME
Received by: KRSZWDA
Mode of Payment: CC
Destination: TORONTO
Agent: NO

Wish you all good luck

With a cap of 500, it's going to be immensely difficult to get through using the generic NOC codes as we saw this year...

Yes, even that would be needed, my dispatch through the DHL took an astonishing 9 days from India to Canada... the reason that they told was bad weather conditions.. So for an applicant from a far off country like India, you may have to travel yourself and submit...

Jokes apart... there is a serious advise as well in that.. If you are aiming for 2nd July next year.. think of a possible courier delay as well...and plan something accordingly..

I have someone in canada.
So i have already planned that if i miss the bus this year
i will go on a student visa
do a six months course from january in sheridan college and hand submit my application for pr in july while im there

That sounds like a plan... This is something more practical than sending the app and waiting, which is our current approach... ;D

I still don't see the reason to believe that you did not make it this year. Your application is there for more then 3 weeks so why do you think you missed the cap?

Coz the CC charging process has still not gone beyond the first week applicants.. which may also mean that all the 307 received apps are of the first week applicants as well...
