another query is during application if i show my parent as dependent with proofs, like enough fund to support parent (more than enough than required to support one family member as per CIO)....i am also planning to submit verification of local govt officer declaring my parent is my dependent...also, i am planning to give an explanation letter mentioning why i say my parent is my dependent....

in this circumstance, will my application be rejected as I am including my parent as dependent?

Dear All,

I am from India and please I need to know two things urgently:

- Can I use my 10th class certificate as Birth Certificate? (I was born in 1970 & they did not make birth certificates those days. Even Delhi VO accepted Matriculation Certificate as DOB proof)

- If yes, do I need to also include some affidavit? (Anyone can help me with the contents please of the Affidavit?)

- Is PCC a must to be sent to CIO right now? Can we send later?

canada121 I also do the same attached 10th certificate and make an affidavit which signed by my mother.
in 2002 my elder brother also done the same and he is now Canadian citizen. but I don't know now they accept it or not I just waiting for CIO result

For proof of funds: can anyone say what is required? bank certificate or bank statement? and what is bank certificate?
