my friend its bad news augest 02 recived file is return on 06 december they handover to postel department on 02 octeober 2011 i recived 06 december file reason cap full how cap full i dont understand they update website 02 augest 250 application recived that mean iam in cap so how? cap full i think they playing with apllicant future in future no one belive CIC its truth

Dear friend! As far as information available on this forum is concerned, only 1122 applicants up to 8th July 2011 were entertained. Applications received after 8th July were rejected due to the reason of CAP reached. Furthermore please read the following note on the CIC website:

"Note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, the CIO cannot review each application for completeness on the same day it arrives at the office. The numbers on this page are updated at least once a week, but these figures are meant as a guide only. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap by the time it reaches the CIO. We are looking into ways to minimize the effect of this on website updates".

The applicants on 1122 NOC were numerous and they bombarded CIC with their applications with the very beginning. I have faced the same situation twice. Please do not lose your heart and plan for the next attempt.

my file reached cio on AUG 12,
If that is the case then y they reply as "Awaiting initial processing" y aren't they reply cap reached when i inquire they gave me this reply !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what that means!!!!!!!!!

i got 1st reply on 27/10 as "Awaiting initial processing"
then again i had sent an email on 30/11 still no reply from them,
i ll wait till another week then again send an e-mail if i didn't get any reply!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone please let me know about the funds I need to take to Canada on arrival.

Do we need to take the amount given in the CIC website when arriving in Canada; the settlement funds. Will it be a problem if I carry less than the amount given?

They just ask how much money you are carrying at the time of landing.
