CIC is checking patience now. Waiting waiting and waiting for update ............................... Very boring and frustrating now. God please help

Canadian Immigration process is a real test for the persons patience. Just hold on. Everything will be fine.

As I told you before I have already got the PER by email.

However the ECAS says a postal mail has been sent on the same day where I received my PER by email. To this day I have not received any post from CIO. What does the post usually contain after the PER.

Hello everyone,
I have been following this forum for quite sometime. Even I've applied under NOC code 1122 and my application reached CIO, NS on 5th Aug. I had emailed an inquiry after 6 weeks and below is the reply I recieved after 3 weeks ON 13th Oct.:

"Good Morning,
Our records indicate your application is awaiting initial processing. You will be contacted in due course.

Thank you,
JT"

Does this mean my application is within the cap? Till today, I've not received any further correspondence. Can some senior member in this forum please guide? Thanks for your help!

Regards,
Reenapat

Hey Gladiusraj,
Thanks for the reply. I did not receive any number with the email. It was just mentioned that "my application is awaiting initial processing. I would be contacted in due course." Many people in this forum have received such emails. I've noticed that some have received different terms in their email. Assessment instead of Processing. Do both mean the same? Or maybe waiting is the only solution.

Hello Reenapat!

Well, I received the same emails as you! with "processing". Some people here said already that it means that the documents are all correct and nothing is missing. this process is the "assessing", so our files have already been assessed and now they are into processing which means to be checked acording to elegibility and points! My credicard has also been charged, have yours?
So, now I think our next contact from them will be the Positive Elegibility Review, saying that our file got enough points(more than 67), and will now be sent for processing in the Visa Office. In the PER we should also get our app number!
LETS HOPE IT ARRIVES SOON!!

Hey SuperSayan,
Good to know that your credit card has already been charged. For me, there is no news yet...no correspondence from CIC. My credit card is not yet charged. Hope there is something great awaiting for us all.

I sent my application on Aug 11 and received by D. Stevenson on Aug 17. Till then no email from CIC. I check with my bank and they assured that my BD not encashed yet. What are the possibilities? I heard that the refusals are informed right away, within 6 weeks, is it true?

My application reached on 17th as well. We could be late, we could have made it just in time. Whatever it is, lets not loose hope till hear back from CIC.

Regarding the refusals, they don't inform anybody. You will only receive the package at your doorstep.

APPLICANT UNDER NOC 3152

Hi to every one, I would like to ask anybody out there who already have an experience applying as a skilled worker especially for NOC 3152 (Registered Nurse). My documents was received (In Nova Scotia office) last Sept. 13 per DHL confirmation, and the Cap was closed on Sept. 20, 2011. I am just wondering if I was included within the cap before it reaches 500, because until now its the month of november the CIC has not yet inform me nor acknowledge that they have received my papers.

I heard that some applicants have been informed by the CIC as soon as they received their documents.

I am just nervous what if I am not included within the Cap, I might have myself ready (emotionally) to accept the return of my papers soon. :(

Please anybody I badly need your advice to comfort my restless nights. Thanks
