Hi everybody, well.. today I receive the same email of many of us:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 6 Sept 2011 as the cap of NOC 1122 has been reached.

Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application form. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service.

Now.... I dont know Im looking for a job offer i dont wanna wait for next year cause it would be worst and maybe the cap will reach in one day! If the Noc 1122 would still be a deseable ocupation...

Actually I'm twice bitten for the same reason now, last year my app had reached a day after the effective cut off date and it got returned in the same fashion..

I have applied under FSW, Category 1122. My application has been reached at CIC on 25th of July, 2011.

After 6 week of my application has been reached, I have inquired to CIC regarding the status of application. Below is the conversation.

I am confused with answer of CIO. Is it a positive sign ? Because in your case they have mention that they have return your application because of capacity has been reached

a) As most of us are getting replies that Your application is returned as the Cap has reached 500. Now my application was recieved by CIC on 5th Aug 2011so What are the chances like?



b) If this options doesnt work out then moving on study visa can be viable choice. Comments please

Sad to know this ....Can You share the Consultant name and what is he telling now ?

Hi Guys,

My consultant just received my file back, with a letter saying:

"A maximum of 10,000 complete Federal Skilled Worker applications, without an offer of
arranged employment, or a maximum of 500 complete Federal Skilled Worker applications per
National Occupation Classification (NOC) code will be considered for processing each year.
Your application was received after the maximum of 500 complete Federal Skilled Worker
applications per NOC 1122 was reached."

My app was received on 11th of July, 9th and 10th being weekend. Hope this gives some insight to the post-8th July applicants. I feel we better start looking for arranged employments rather than wasting time discussing when the cap for 1122 closed. All the best to all.

Congrats buddy. You are in the race. Give them some more time atleast 15 to 20 days than every thing will be clear soon. Timeline for giving reply by cic is 90 days and now it's more than 2 months (60 days). May be in 2 to 3 weeks we all get the news and information about our file. CIC is doing there work according to thier timeline. So wait for there reply. And the reply you got shows that they are doing assessment on other files. So we have to belive on them and wait for final answer.
