Hi there - it maybe alright but is very tight and could have fallen outside the cap, also we don't know how the quotas are split by application region so depending on where you sent your application from may have an effect.
On your consultant - GET YOUR MONEY BACK - that is very bad management ( you should have gone through a UK consultant, they are very efficient if you find the right one) if my clients were serviced by me so inefficiently i would be sacked on the spot. Also i would name and shame them on this forum so others don't suffer.

Any body have an idea or small estimation of Damascus Office Quota (if any), i mean as a percentage of the total expected immigration applications ? :(

Thanks alaindotcom, fact, I suspose Calgary would be waiting for us...

See you in Calgary then, Phil. I don't have my PER yet. But I am keeping the faith. The forum has been very upbeat lately. I hope it starts raining PERs from today onwards.

According to the date you already sent, your app has no doubt included...the only one you have to do would be sit and drink a cup of coffee, well, if you insist, you should think about how to enjoy your new life in Canada like me as we are both born to living in Canada. ;D
BTW, I realised the 9.0 band score in IELTS you got, what a perfect level of your language proficiency...as I see it, even a native user though the exmainers could not be guaranteed to get 9.0 band in IELTS each session. Good job, My friend.

Congrat's Buddy and All the best for next process.

Hi
I just got a confirmation from my bank that my BD was encashed on 8th sept.
I took me 10 days to find the detail. I am so relaxed.

Thanks, Phil. I did not realize that a band score of 9.0 was a rare occurrence until after people in the forum told me about it. Somebody said I should put it in my forum profile, so I did. I really hope a 9.0 helps get me a PER, and ultimately, an immigrant visa. I am seriously worried about the eligibility review. I think after the PER, things will just fall into place on their own. So I will only be celebrating as soon as I get a PER. ;)

I am happy for you and everyone else who has got a PER. :D I will let you know as soon as I get a PER, or a NER for that matter.

Hi,
check this out.

I'm not sure how to comment on this, but maybe seniors can analyze the data a little bit more as per their valuable experience.

The link to the table of numbers correlates the target numbers of allocated spaces for visa allocation by region and by overall category, though unfortunately it doesn't break these figures into NOC codes. But is very interesting - something factual is always easier to relate to :)

Thanks for the information! :)

Hi I am a silent observer of this forum.

I have applied under FSW, Category 1122. My application has been reached at CIC on 25th of July, 2011.

After 6 week of my application has been reached, I have inquired to CIC regarding the status of application. Below is the conversation.

I am confused with answer of CIO. Is it a positive sign ?

Seniors please help me to analyze the answer from CIO.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I had sent my application file for FSW (category 1122) received by CIO on July 25, 2011. The details are given below.

Visa Office : New Delhi
Applicant Name : XXX
FSW : NOC 1122
Passport No : XXX
DOB :XXX

I wanted to know the status of my application, as it is already six weeks that my application has been received at the CIO.

Thank you.

Regards,

Hi Nik,

You have been asked to wait b4 making any decision further.

"Your submission is with our office and is currently awaiting initial assessment. You will be contacted in due course." It means they have received your application. First assessment is still pending for your application.
Please check with your bank officials whether your BD ( if you paid by Bank Draft) is charged or not else check if your CC (credit card if you paid by it.) is charged or not.

If anything is charged then you can expect their further assesment (67 points) result very soon.

Dear AVSNEH,

Thanks for your clarification. My DD has not been charged yet.

According to the response of CIC, I fall within capacity or not ?

Because in response to some forum members, CIC has written Initial Review, or Initial Processing but in my case they have written Initial Assessment.

Niksonu,

I guess they are using words "review/assesment/processing" randomly along with the word "Initial". You should wait for some days for your DD to get cashed. According to spreadsheet they are processing 18th- 20th July onwards fees now(latest reported encashment date 20/9/11) .

Hey guys,

I have a question. I got a PER (In sep) from CIC and got promotion (in my personal life) also in current month. I have become a proud father of a small little angel boy :-*. Now I want to add his name in my application. Where should i send an information to?? CIC or my VO ? what all documents I should send?? :'( in how many days CIC send file/application to respective VO?? What will be the process to follow for his case???

Please guide..... 8)

Thanks

i submitted my documents on 20th august 2011. i completed all the forms but in Background Information form for the spouse i forgot to write To Date in the last working experience column. do u think tht my application will be deemed incomplete because of this oversight. the forms and documents are complete in every other respect. i will really appreciate if someone can tell me wht might happen.
