Hi guys Just to let you know that today I received the recejtion email. My application was sent on 8th july, and reached CIO on 14th july. The email is the following:
Dear Sir/Madam,



Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 06 Sept 2011 as the cap of NOC 1122 has been reached.



Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application form. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service.

Hi , did you send an email to know about your aplication process??? when was that??? my aplication was received on July 14th too and i sent and email to CIC one week ago, but until today nothing :-( no charges, no emails of cap reached, no response of my email about my process, nothing!!!

You may recv their response in 15-20 Working Day time.....

You have to call them on their help line numbers if you want to know the status of your application.... toll free numbers are given for the ppl who resides CANADA......

If your payment is not processed even after 6 weeks you can email them to know the status of your application. But this year CIO has huge backlog, as some members lately whose file reached after mid July are getting replies of no records/may be in queue for initial processing & to inquire again after 2-3 weeks.
Still you can email & get a reply from them directly.

& i dont know about my DD is encashed or not coz HDFC ppl are saying they dont hav any track records so how would i know, is there any way 2 check it out?

What documents you submitted for PCC in RPO?? I have previous PCC (taken at Oct'10) and I want to renew it... Is there any diff process we have to follow for Renewal of PCC or it will be treated as new PCC only....??

Yes you can get it same day too but you have to collect it from their office in person or they mail it by registered post .

Of course the bank can trace your DD looking up their nostro accounts.Just that some are not willing to check as it is extra work for them. You can request them politely & keep following up with them at regular intervals till they oblige. Even we had to wait long before we could know about our BD encashment date.

Do not go for PCC until you are asked by VO to get it (they might waive it for you). We had included all copies of basic docs.(ration card, driving license, electricity bill etc.), alongwith the PCC form .PCC isn't renewed it will be a new PCC altogether.

And praying that everything will get waived (PCC and interview) and should get medical forms directly after 2 months.... hehehehe

Hey Guys,

I have received PER on 14th SEP'2011. I checked my e-CAS status on 15th and it gave the message that " Received by CIC on 5th Jul'11". I checked on Monday dtd. 19th Sep'11 and message shows
"Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on July 5, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 14, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. "

I checked today also and the status is same.

Would like to ask you when CIC will send application (those who got PER) to their respective VO???

and when the status is expected to change??

Looking at June 2011 applicants, I think it takes a month for Ecas to change to RBVO... I maybe wrong...

i submited pcc from RPO with the application. i got it from rpo on the same day.

Hi Emado - i'm afraid there is no way of knowing, none of us know as we don't wor for the CIC, can't connect with them properly but what we do know is when they get in touch with us either via mail or email we have an answer. People will have their opinions but opinions are not facts i'm afraid my friend. FACT

You r right! no one knows facts, which is freaking out everyone.. I'm opening the sheet that contains the group members information, and noticing that New Delhi VO application sent after 12/7 are sending them the rejection of due to CAP, while other VO are not ... may be (not fact) they are taking into consideration the region you are coming from ...
