Even I have the same doubt and asked in the forum But no replies ...and moreover the bank in my home country has tie up with Bank of Montreal Canada and they have given me the BD of Bank of Montreal so How do we know if the BD has been charged as the bank in my country says we have issued already ......Lots of suspense ...Anyone here who has gone through this before can Guide us

hi friends my application reached cic on 12 aug 2011 ,so is there any chance of getting visa as my points is 70,but am not sure that my application selected coz there is no update from cic on total application received after 10 aug 2011 last updated no was 419 so plz reply me soon..

The bank in my home country has a tie up with Bank of Montreal Canada and they have given me the BD of Bank of Montreal so How do we know if the BD has been charged as the bank in my country says we have issued the BD already ......Suspense ??????????????? ??? ???

Anyone here who has gone through this before can Guide us ...... ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Hi there - your bank should be able to tell you this, some may charge for the information but they can tell if the BD has been cashed becasue the money leaves their account at this time. Also BD's wil be slower for a transaction unlike a CC payment which is pretty much instant, paying by either route does NOT affect your chances of being in the quota.

earlier in the thread i said people should not read too much into things and just take the CIC announcements at face value. If they say they received 419 complete applications as of last week, and your application pack was received prior to the reporting date, you are in... unless you mailed an incomplete application pack. There is just no sense in CIC continuing to accept applications if they already know they have more than enough to work on. It's a waste of their time and money to have to ship application packs back to their respective origins.

So you guys sit back and relax. If you put together a complete pack, your BD or CC is legit and you haven't blown off your balance doing shopping in the last 5 weeks, i think you are in.

I have take BD From ICICI Bank in India,butthey issued the draft From Candian Imperial bank of Commerence,Toronto,
I called the Customer care people ,they suggest me that from which bank center we taken should be touch with that guys,
last week only i spoke with that branch people,who issued the BD,Week back he mailed to Canada bank about this,may be i am expecting today they will give response.
So be in touch where u get the BD issued person .

A suggestion for anyone who is planning to take a BD in future.. The best way of taking BD for the purposes like Immigration is to do it through organizations like Thomas Cook as I have done. TC is a single organization across the world ... it's very easy to check the BD status as they share the DB for all the branches across the world. Only downside is that there may be a small amount incurred as service charge.. But it's worth spending that I thought taking into consideration other benefits..

hahaha. the reality is I just got through one hurdle. there are a couple more possible roadblocks ahead. But i'll be celebrating every step of the way, and keeping my sunny disposition.
