Hi Sandip,

Hope you will get the reply in mid of December since, their taking 15 to 20 days to to reply. After receiving reply from CIO on 16/11 I have sent another e-mail to them on 19/11 hope reply will come with in next week.

Once I get the reply I'll post it. Let see!!

sorry pal i didnt get u,if u receive reply from cio on 16/11 then u should wait for at least 2 weeks y did u send email immediately after 3 days that is on 19/11!!!!!!!!
any ways lets hope that u ll make it within the cap !!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Sandip,

Today I've sent another e-mail to CIO office and asked them about my file status since nothing has changed in ECAS. It just shows my address and " in process" for more than a month now.
I still did not get PER/Ner yet!
Keep u guys posted as soon as i hear something back from them!

Simply bcoz it takes 15 - 20 days. If i wait 2 weeks I'll get a reply in 2012.Hope most of the CIO staff will go on vacation in this month therefore, replies also will delay than normal time.
I'm planing to apply under PNP or Quebec so I need a confirmation from CIO whether my application accepted or rejected. Even rejected it doesn't matter but, I need a confirmation from CIO before go to the next step.

My application was received by CIC on 17 Aug 2011 under NOC 1122.

Since then it is almost more than 90 days but i have no reply from them.?

Can somebody suggest the time it tales for initial processing.I heard 3 months that are also over?

Others who have applied in the same category can suggest something please?

Please ask the status update about your application to CIC over mail. You can expect their reply after 2 weeks (15 days).
Please mention the information about name ( as written in application), DOB, when you have send the documents (date), tracking record (date/who signed the reciept), your VO etc...

my application received by cio on 12 AUG,when i enquire about after 2 months i got reply as "Awaiting initial processing " till date its almost 4 months no ans from cio so,what u think its a +ve or -ve sign!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After long tim ebuddy... Actually i went silent for some time... you know its good for self realisation... actually trying to increase my patience..... bec this process teaches a lot....Requesting you to send an email again as its almost 4 months now.... They will give you an exact reply on the status... If you ask my opinion everyone should get AOR and PER ... dont know why they have kept a CAP on each NOC.... Praying that you should get the GOOD news till the end......

Would suggest you to wait for one more week and you will get a news.... TC and keep posting you updates....

Guys, Finally, i received BACK my application package last week with a letter explaining that i didn't make the CAP.

Application Filed:21-07-2011.

This was the third and probably the last time that i applied for FSW. ATB to the pending applicants !!!

I have been following the forum silently since July. I would like to inform all that today 2-Dec-2011, i received an email from CIO that my application was returned on 22-Sept due to cap being reached for NOC 1122.

My app reached on 22-Jul to Nova Scotia. Hence, confirming the notion in this forum of cap being reached within the first week/10days of July 2011.

Hello everyone,

We got an email an hour ago from CIO. Our application was returned on 2nd of November due to CAP reach for 1122. Our application reached CIO on 17th of August.

I am not sure if it is a good idea to wait till next year, I am looking for alternatives. Any suggestions???
