Not true.
He said they received 34,000 applications in the last fiscal year. He did not say they received 34,000 applications from July 2011 until now.
Dear Harry,

I am afraid Its true and he was talking about the this year applications from July till date he gave the seminar. its not about last year. by the way how can you be sure that he is saying about last year my consultant is canadian consultant and he is sure what he is communicating. no one want to discourage their client he is telling the truth.

HI dear,
As per my opinion if you put the application in 2 diff CAPS then it will simply gets rejected..... You have to have apply yoru application under one NOC only. I asked my lawer the same question before applying it... If they found such case They will not check your second application and if at all the first NOC is full then they will just say NOC CAP is full.
Hi everyone,

i differ from Avsneh, yes you can put application against two NOCs if you are qualified and also in the same application you can mention that you have experience against other NOC as well.

Hey Harry,

The Program Manager of this Central Intake Processing Office located in Nova Scotia, Canada, Mr. Randy Orr, at a recent seminar for consultants held in Toronto, confirmed that they had received 34,000 applications so far in all categories

We dont know what exactly OM means..... If he is giving an seminar then he might be considering the numbers from JAN as well...... our main interest is in the 22nd AUG'11 which he (cnsltnt) is saying the day on which CAP is full for 1122......

Gr8 News for all those who are still waiting for their PERs...... Guys its really on its way.... ppl who didnt get PER last week they will get it in this week....... TC and all teh best !!
Dear Avsneh,

the consultant is saying the cap reached date is very misleading as it only shows when the office in Canada registered or opened new applications and that the number they opened reached 500.

So does that mean the cap not reached by 22nd Aug'11 also.... As per consultants comments, it is mentioned the application recieved / opened reached 500 numbers (means not 500 correct applications) implies that there might be chance for those who have submitted/reached their applications after 22nd Aug can expect themself IN ????

If you ask me this consultant is just showing kindness toward the applicant who didnt get PER......

What you say..??

No Avsneh, you didn't got the point. application reached and opened is 500 as on 22nd Aug 2011 which does not implies that same application those were recieved until 22 Aug 2011 are in the cap it means that in first few days of July they recieved more than five hundered applications and as they open them they kept updating the cap and it reached as on 22nd Aug.

i hope i explained.

regards,

I definately go with your second statement dear... but you can not write two NOC in one column/application under which you want to consider your application to be..... You are absolutely right that we can very well mention about any exprnces we have.... ( you may show 29 NOC experiance) but they will only going to consider your latest 4 year full time experiance. If you want to apply any occupation you can but for which you must show the experiance letter which you can not have for two different occupations.... Not a single organisation (at list in INDIA) can provide you two different role & responsibility certificates at one time....

My cousin is in CANADA, Toronto since 2K (11 years) now, and i asked him before applying for immigration. My sister in Law (his wife) just went there (with same process) in 21st Dec'10....

I am not saying I am right but I have confirmed it with my cousin as well as a Lawer who is practicing in Canada high commision & supporting to my case as well......

You can try this option if you are willing to..... It is not at all written anywhere in CIC or any other official/unofficial site..... If you ask me about written confirmation from these two guys I can not provide you the same..... SO its a open call for everyone who wants to walk on the path of heaven.....

Friend you confused me. see i take paragraph wise your comment. thanks you understand my second statement about CAP. as far as experience is considered CIC take into consideration your last ten years experience not last four years. so if you have for example 4 years experience in 1122 and 6 years in any other noc or vice versa you can apply against both yet you have to mention one NOC ofcourse in one application .

I did not got your second and third paragraph what you are exclaiming here. kindly elaborate.

Expln:
In 2nd para, Whatever I said in my 1st para, is confirmed by 2 people (ref. given in my earlier post : cousin[who is staying in canada since 11 yrs now, & my lawer Mr. xxx who is parcticing in Canada High Commission since 10 years now]) I also applied for 1122 for this year (after Jul '1 2011) by concerning my lawer.
In 3rd para, I am giving you an example of my sister in law ( who is wife of my same cousine and applied through same process FSW Last Year.) She got PR in th emonth of Nov'10 and went there in the month of Dec'10. while she applying she also cleared this question [whether we can apply under 2 NOC codes or not] and applied so....
FYI, She had 8 years of expr. and while her interview our VO (New Delhi) asked her to consider only current Occupn. and not the one which she was doing 3 years earlier....
I was just sharing my expernc.......
Anyways, lets see..... I have applied under one NOC only....... and I hope i dont have to apply it for any other NOC........

Thankx....

there is no way you can go into 500 cap next year. You need to wait 30th June for CIC announcement such as new forms, checklist, etc then submit.
only the canadian based consultant can reach the cap by completing their overtime work within 1 day, DHL, then reach CIC office at early 09:00.
there is no way us could beat the quota. :'( :'(

we should do the Plumber NOC... easier...
start a small domestic plumber shop and get certificate; no business is required. hire/manager someome to do plumber tasks

still fit noc 1122
and fit noc for PLUMBER.... right ?

that 's what I think it works

Hi Yon. You can do what I did this year.

(I don't have an agent. I don't think anybody needs one where the FSW program of Canada is concerned. The program guide is straightforward. I am finding out that the only source of confusion is a wild imagination that often leads to fear, and subsequently to fear-mongering in the forum. haha)

I just read the news on CIC regularly. I also followed CIC on Twitter and Youtube. I prepared my documents and application papers ahead of the July 1 opening, using forms that were current as of the last week of June. On July 1, I checked the CIC website and saw that although there were changes in immigration policy and in the forms, not everything were to take effect immediately. The old forms, in particular, were still going to be accepted until X date. So I submitted my application on July 2 and made it to the cap this year.

I don't think Canada-based consultants or any consultant for that matter have the advantage of time. They have to submit forms duly signed by clients who are residing outside of Canada. So if there are any changes in policy and or forms, the re-submission process may actually take a lot longer for those who still have to send completed forms out to their agents. Immigration consultants or agents can sometimes be an unnecessary layer of bureaucracy.

Pray that I make it to Canada this year. If I make it good in Canada on my first year, you guys send me your application packages ahead of time so I can camp out of the CIO in Nova Scotia on June 31, and personally hand in your application packs as soon as CIO's doors open on July 1, 2012. hahaha. Just kidding.

Good luck to everyone.
