1122 Post Application ON July 2011 Lets Share

Mine was recieved at exactly 10.01Hrs on 8th july according to UPS data.

My CC was charged on 12th august.

Mine was also recieved on 8th of July, nut no response. I emailed CIO on August 22nd and got a response back from them on August 31st asking me for my date of birth and Guess What! They wished me Good Morning... (Ha!Ha!)

I emailed them back, but haven't received a response yet on my status.

So, I'm just waiting. Sorry RKC, but I'm a little lost. You got a response back from them? Who has quoted here that their application was received on July 8th and is being returned due to the CAP being filled?

nish.. you are right... we are curious to know why the cc or bd of any other category(whose application reached after 8th july ) is not charged after 22nd august. Their cap is not reached so why they are not reporting their payment charged!! (may be on reason is that people from other categories are few in canadavisa forums-- pz comment)

we hope that the responses recevied from CIC are just auto responses but are not factual-- although chances of this are rare. We could be hopeful till 1-2 weeks)

satish .... dear why dont u also send cic an email and ask the status of your application!! you will get the clear idea from them!! and we will be sure too!!

I applied under noc 2121.My appli. received by them on 13.07.2011 but B/D encashment is pending

It was Priyavig (8th July) who first got cap reached reply from CIO. We know the cut-off date is 8th July for 1122 but it's difficult to ascertain the exact cut-off time on that day. Anyways, you would know the status in a matter of few days. Fingers crossed for you.

It was Priyavig (8th July) who first got cap reached reply from CIO. We know the cut-off date is 8th July for 1122 but it's difficult to ascertain the exact cut-off time on that day. Anyways, you would know the status in a matter of few days. Fingers crossed for you.

But do we really know its 8th July????? 100%????? Afraid we don't, i think everyone to appease any anxiety should just wait until there application is returned. Thats what i am going to do, the theories on here are great but thats all they are. We don't have comcrete proof, hard to go on last years timings/data as things were different then and none of us have a contact on site who would know for sure.

I have read in news articles that the CIC will give random responses for different reasons, some being the truth some to put people off so do we really know? Lets wait or this thread will be a 1000 more pages and have gone in yet another big subject circle...

As per policy stated in OP-6 (Operational Bulletin) or I have seen it somewhere (but can't remember), CIO Sydney will accept all applications on a particular date when the cut off has been reached. It is not dependent on time, so if (supposedly) 8th July 2011 was the cut off date for 1122, then all applications received on 8th July will be considered in the CAP & be eligible for processing. (Will post the link as soon as I find it !!)

It's going to get even tougher to beat the cap in subsequent years (if 1122 exists).
