Hello everybody,
I have worked 2 years in B category and in my 3rd year I have worked 11 months and 1 week while I was on unpaid vacation for 3 weeks. As par CIC website, I have to declare if I was away from work for over a month.
My question is,
If I have worked 11 months and 1 week for 3rd year but my hours are over 1600, would it be counted as 1 year experience?

Was the vacation at the end of the employment or mid way through year 3?

If it was mid way through, you should be fine as CIC assumes you will take a vacation at some time. Essentially, does your employment letter state you worked, say, 1st October 2015 to 1st October 2016 or 1st October 2015 to 7th September 2016?

No, my experience letter doesn't mention about the vacation.
My experience letter mentions continuos 2 years of work but my 1st year was also in B category at different job.
I have been working since 1st day of my PGWP and untill last day of my PGWp, I will be with 3 years of work experince in Canada if my vacation of 3 weeks don't create any issue.

When calculating your work experience, you cannot include:

Any period of unemployment
Any extended time outside Canada. For example, if you leave Canada for longer than the period of vacation time allotted in your employment contract, that period does not count.
Any period you work for your employer outside Canada. For example, time spent on a family vacation outside of Canada will not count.

So basically, in my case my company only allows 10 vacation days i went for a vacation for 1 month and 5 days which means out of 35 days only 10 will be counted towards my work experience and rest 20 days will not.hope that clarifies everything.

Can I just ask, how will cic know? I mean, is your employer not just going to write a letter stating you worked xx to yyy (3+ years)? They don't have to mention vacation in your letter at all.

i Agree, but when we submit our pay stubs, the one month of vacation we took will be unpaid and there will be no income from that month right ? then they are going to ask questions right?

If your employer mentions your salary in your letter then you don't have to submit pay stubs. They aren't a requirement.
