Hayyy.. in 3 months' time magpapare-medical na naman tayo... sana wag nang umabot pa dun. I really don't know what's going on with the Manila VO. Don't know what's taking so long.

Sino dito ang nagtry mag-email sa Manila VO? I mean, apart from the Yolanda issue, meron bang nag-email at humingi ng updates and did they respond?

Ako, I sent an inquiry regarding sa status ng application namin yesterday. Im a July applicant by the way.
At eto reply ng CEM:

Dear Sir/Madam,

We received your email regarding file number XXXXXXX on 11 February 2014. We note that the file was received on 04 July 2013.

If you have sent us this email to report important changes regarding your application, we will add this information to your file. This email serves as your confirmation of receipt for these documents. Please be assured that this information will be brought to the attention of the appropriate authority.

We note that this file is currently within processing standards. We do not respond to status enquiries if the application is within normal processing times.

Yan din nakuha kong reply when I informed them of my husband's change of address in Phils. They said I cannot ask anything related to the status of our application since it's still within t he processing time. I hope all of us will get some good news soon.

I have this dilemma. I still have the old "green" passport. Expiry is 2015. I don't know whether I should renew it or not. Some say they will no longer accept old passports in airports. The problem is, I sent my application using that passport and now I'm worried that if I renew it, it will cause complications with my application. Also, my application is under my maiden name, if I do renew my passport and I change my name to my husband's last name, will it cause problems with my application? Anyone who has knowledge in this matter? Thanks!

How did you send them a new copy of your passport? You mean, photocopy ng biopage lng?

So magrerenew nalng ako, pero under my maiden name parin? Pwde ba yun?

un kc ang sbi ng hubby ko eh kya d ko muna gnamit ung surname nya

oo ask mu ang embassy if u want para mas sigurado k,,hehehehe,,ung passport ko kc ung lumang maroon pero mg expire n s MAY kya ako ngrenew noong november kc ang akala ko by dec.mgkappr n tau,,hehehehehe

You're going to have to send them the passport so your visa can be stamped with your visa..photo copy won't be any use to them..

I mean BEFORE PPR. I'm planning to renew my passport. Do i send them a photocopy of the new one or just wait for PPR and send both old and new?

Nag apply po ako online ng work permit inside canada for new employer pero po s payment ako ngkakaproblema. 4x ko po inenter ung credit card info pero lagi po lumalabas transaction not complete. On the 5th time po lumabas this order has been finalized click here to view your reciept, pero pg click ko po ung link sabi, transaction not complete pa rin. Did I complete the payment? Or did I pay several times? Kc po nagisuyo lng ako ng credit card ng tito ko. Id call the hotline of cic but automated voice lagi sumsagot! Help naman po!

Nabasa ko na may mga pagkakataon na nangyayari ang ganun, na hirap makapasok sa payment. At meron ding pagkakataon na nadoble ang charging sa credit card. Mas maigi sigurong tawagan ng Tito mo ang credit card company para e verify kung pumasok ba ang payment. Kung hindi pumasok, kailangan mong ulitin ang processo. Yan lamang po ang aking opinyon at ito'y maaring mali at pwede ding tama. Pero sa palagay ko, tama ako.
